Break in the weather yields buttons and Flying Eagle!

It got up to 49 degrees here yesterday after a warm front came through with a soaking rain the day before, leaving me some prime hunting conditions. I had promised the owner of a property I hunt regularly to help him find a couple more property markers. I found the markers pretty quick, and then got down to business. I've probably pulled 100 or more buttons out of this site, a dozen or so large cents, three Flying Eagles and a few other coins over the past year. The finds are becoming scarce, but managed to find a few more buttons and my fourth FE (1857).

The button in the top right still had thread in the shank!


And FE was in pretty rough shape, but managed to clean it enough for an ID.
