brinks rolls of halfs

Is it possible they are proofs? Lots of times the edges of proofs are so sharp I can tell it's a proof just by looking at the edges. Or, it could be that we're seeing so many with the edges worn down from slot machines that non-worn coins look extra sharp on the edge...

Ya All I know is these coins look brand new and it looks like someone or something has made little grind marks on the edge of the face of the ring. Does this make since? Mike ???

If you're talking about a ring around the obverse or reverse of the coin, then that is from the wrapping machines. They use heat to melt the plastic wrappers and when they touch the coin, they put those rings on them.

THE GRINDS MARKS ARE ON THE VERY EDGE OF THE COIN,LIKE WHERE THE COPPER SHOWS :)
