Brinks Service Area

I got that far, but I'm not sure how about determining the boundaries.

Well for me Brinks ha s facility in Memphis and Nashville (TN), you can find them in phone Book(s) online; my source Bank is in one, I drive 60 miles to the other Brinks area & dump- or do it on way to Mo 140 miles from here in a St.Louis district.

I don't think you can methodically but if there were 2 locations 150 miles apart than I suppose each one's reach could be 75 miles out. so you would have to figure boundries of Brinks 1 & 2 buy drawing a 75 mile arc around the center of ea. and than dump out side that arc. you might also consider some overlap in this assuption.

Unfortunately, I'm in St. Louis, therefore it maximizes my distance to get out of the region since I'm centered in my radius, uhgg.

My situatin is worse than that. im on the opposite side of 3 locations and am trapped by the Canadian border. So I would have to drive past the local distribution point to go the the next one...... uhgg.

The trick is not so much getting out of the region but pulling from one courier (Garda, Dunbar, Loomis, etc..) and dumping in another courier (Brinks). If all your banks are serviced by Brinks (highly unlikely) then you need to follow an armored car one day and see what branches they stop at and open an account. Another option is to pull from a big bank that has multiple couriers to cover the banks regions. I don't know much about St. Louis but I would assume that a large bank would have multiple regions in that area. Each region would negotiate their own coin handling with the various couriers.

The coins would find their way back to you if you don't remove them from the region if there are multiple carriers. I serch both in my area and dump in one but I still get my tags back from both.

Looks like Loomis and Dunbar are definitely in the area also, how can I find out what banks they service, I don't really feel comfortable with the idea of following an armored car?

Unless da1984 is going to dump in the Kansas City or Chicago area he will probably get his own coins back. I have dumped 200 miles away and still get my coins back. As long as the coins stay in the same Federal Reserve district you have a chance of getting the same coin back. My suggestion was to limit your pull from only one courier and dump in another. If you can structure it so that the couriers use different Federal Reserve service centers then the better off you will be. Ex. pull from BofA who gets coins from the local Brinks office who pulls from the Brinks Fed center in St. Louis and dump at Wachovia who dumps with loomis and dumps to the CWI Center in St. Louis. this way your coins will take a longer period of time to get back to you and possibly be sent out of the Federal Reserve area.

Go to different banks and ask for rolled coin. You will notice the difference in the wrappers. Some may use clear wrap on the dimes and others will not. I have modified my post above to include CWI instead of Loomis. Since I know CWI is in St. Louis

What do CWI and Dunbar wrappers look like? I only see Brinks (black and clear) and Loomis (yellow). I hear rumors that another carrier picks up at my bank further north of here. Tempted to run up there one day and see what wrappers I get.

CWI here is the yellow wrappers and a flatbox 1 layer of 50 rolls. It is my understanding that CWI is a coin handling company only and may actually be inside of other couriers such as Dunbar doing their coin for them.
