British Military Button...circa 1929 from what type of uniform

I don't think the 30 is a date, maybe a regiment? Very difficult to google with what you see. I've deciphered the back as Jennens & Co, London, so likely produced before 1924 unless the buy-out company (Guart I think) continued to use the backstamp. It reputedly (I have no reason to doubt)was found at the wrecksite of the airship R101 in France...crashed 1930. Regardless....what type of military type wore it? Thanks! My first quest.

its is certainly the british 30 th regiment.They are similar for many of the regiments.hope this helps..r21.webp
