I trust all of you enjoyed your Father's Day - I sure did. I started the day breaking into the 1800s after hitting a construction site in the city. All-in-all, 48 cents in mixed clad, two buttons (well one for sure), 1911 wheatie (badly worn), two injuns 1891 and 1889, a beautiful 1898 dime and this tiny 1853 3-cent piece. I hope I can get back to this site before the grass seed is planted and the asphalt is roled.

what beauties. what kinda signal did u get off the tiny silver ?

I was running my DFX at 15 khz and I believe it was coming in at about 59 VDI (normalized). It was jumping around a little but repeatable at 6 inches.... I almost didn't dig it... glad I did.

Beautiful coins! Way to go!! Those things sure are a surprise to see roll out of the dirt. Tiny little coins to be sure :).
