Looks like it could possibly be a heavily water worn tip or part of a blade.

I agree with quito. It's an argillite tip. Could have been a projectile or knife. A great many of what we call points, even ones that are not that large, were knives rather then points. You can often tell by the usage wear on one edge, or by an asymmetrical shape, that something was being used as a knife.
