Forgot my wetsuit at home, so I spent a couple hours searching the dry sand at the point again. Lots of crap targets, but managed a cool little fragment of a bronze spike. Into the water tomorrow at low tide with the hopes of treasures!

Cool spike. Is it from an old wooden ship, you think?

Were you using the CZ?

Nice spike... super cool.

I was using my AT Pro this trip. I had used the CZ previously, but since I wasn't going in the water, I thought I'd use the AT and its larger could lets me move a bit quicker:)

spike prob from 1800s my guess

Very cool spike,,,, enjoy old finds of that nature.

Looks like a early barrel to stock wedge for a flinklock type weapon

Congrats on the old Spike! A bronze spike is on my bucket list. I hope you find a lot more next outing. GL HH!
