Bronze vase from Western Sahara. Any idea about his age?

Hi,

I bought this vase (pictures attached) from fishermen in Western Sahara who just caught it from the sea. I have looked on the net but could not find anything related to it... I was wondering if anyone could help me figuring out his age and origin.

Mrs. Oroblanco nailed it. Many years ago I remember see the local medicine man using one similar to grind up a dose of cures. It is hard to tell, but the age on yours would be 50 yrs. and older. It kind of looks Taureg made.

It's very cool! Don't know if it has value but if it is rare it could be something. Replying here to keep the thread going. I am curious.

I've looked around and honestly, I'm pretty sure its older, but have no idea for sure of age. I really like the one you have.
