Windy but we missed the rain.
We continued gridding from where we left off, just this time I'm stilling trying out the HF Coil. As I predicted, it's good at hoovering up all the small & broken scrappies.
We gridded for 5 hours;

20 Scrappies
3 Roman Bracelet bits, 1 turned into a Child's Ring
Broken Roman Nail Cleaner
Roman Hob-Nail
Roman Pin-Head (type we need)
Roman Military Belt Mount in bits (type I've not seen)
2 x 1st C AD Roman Fibula (Brooches - field lives up to it's name again!)

The main objective of covering all of the known scatter one last time, is to get most of it before the next deep plough. We only got 4 small pieces of lead today, I was mostly digging/clearing iron.

Very cool belt mount, yes. You got three pieces and the last is gone? Sad.

Nice going as usual.. That soil really up those coppers:icon_thumleft:

I sure love the amount of ancient coins you dig on a daily basis! :notworthy:
