Brothers & Others Hunt Day 6, This will "SPUR" you on!!
Well today was the last day of the hunt and we ended at noon today because of rain, (and we were all tired from almost 50 hours of detecting in 6 days). Jim came through today with the find of the hunt which was a complete spur. Rick found a nice crotal bell and I found a great little purse with two Buffalo nickels in it, 1915 and 1916. We also found a carriage Rein Guide, a pocket watch, pocket knife, 8 buttons, 4 musket balls. Rick got a silver 1960 canadian dime, and Jim found a silver braclet. The three cartriges are 38-55, an old rifle shell. We also found the gold 1st Lt. bars to go with the silver 2nd Lt bars we found the other day. It was a great hunt and I will post a number of pictures here. Thanks everyone for your nice comments and interest. Our next Brothers hunt will be in August when Rick and I are going to England on Jimmy Sierra's trip. Thanks...Lance
