Buck kinda weekend in the field....

These little thing's are hard to deal with in the dirt,they LOOK like a piece of dirt until you run it across the coil Ty and I have had a pretty good weekend for the lead and a couple cool relic's that I was fortunate to find.Today's wrap-up were 6 buck's a .58 three ring and a .69 roundball out of the orchard along with the wire and other junk iron.From yesterday and today's find's I was able to make up 3 complete set's of B&Ball's with one to spare and a added .69 that I had to throw in to make complete. Also a pic of this weekend's find's,pretty good variety out of this one field,still looking for that fuse!!Thank's for eyeballin' and HH!!

Nice finds Civil, musket balls are hard to find but I use a pinpointer, the dang things usually drop out of the dirt since they are heavy. I liked how you stacked those, LOL. Do you mean the "L" shaped fuses for cannon? I have one, it was sent to me along with several other CW relics from a contest I won, the guy really spoiled me on the prize package, Hotchkiss artillery pieces, a hand full of 3 ringers, Eagle breast plate, a partial horn emblem, a few percussion caps. The relics are not in the best condition but it is nice to be able to pick up CW history and touch it especially after watching Ken Burn's Civil War documentary, I will finish that this evening, the war is almost over and Lee is about to surrender to Grant. I recently sent him some Nazi relics as a thank you. HH, Mike
