Bridle. Age?
Picked this up by the river the other day (the water levels have been sooo low it's been great for bottles and other things).
I figure it's a buckle (though I could be wrong),I was. and I was wondering if any of you fine folk might be able to put a date to it.
It's brass, heavy, and measures about 2½" diameter.
