Buckle behind the park

Went to where old homesite should be behind my work and got this buckle. I got chased all the way back out by it was either bees or horseflies but they were relentless. I haven’t had to run in the woods before lol.

This stovetop cover lifter tool was from last weekend.

I’ve found dozens of various buckles, but none that looked so yellow. Is that from the soil pigments?
