Dug this buckle a few years ago and finally decided to pull it out of the desk and ID it. But not sure about it.
Appears to be copper.
Found it in a park where I have dug several Civil war era buttons, 1881 Indian head penny, older bullets and casings.
There was a camp here in the 1800's.
