I have to make a correction to the buckle ID that I posted here Saturday. https://www.treasurenet.com/threads/literally-the-last-target-of-the-day.678781/#post-7028261. It has been correctly identified as a US Militia shoulder belt plate 1812-1830. It may have been worn as a belt plate during the civil war but it is not a CS plate. I apologize fro any confusion.
