As usual, I find fossils and horns, and here is some kind of buckle. I tried to clean it up a little, but I can not see any writing.
Anyone see a "thing" like this one?? Was it part of horse tack...? Has a simple, hinge.

Looks like part of the buckle on the main cinch that goes around/under a horse's belly to hold a saddle on. Attaches to a receiving piece on the end of the strap coming down from the other side.
