I can't tell what size ti is, but looks like a napsack buckle

Koy63, is correct. With that extra piece I think it's WWII era or so. My CW ones are iron and no extra strap keeper.

I have found a similar buckle (set) in a 1912 railroad logging camp.
I originally thought they were suspender buckles, but as I found more sets of suspenders I realized they were Probably more undergarment related. They are pretty small.
