Most definitely. We do pretty much only do permissions in peoples yards anymore.Good finds! The Buff and wheatie indicates you're in a spot with potential!!
I had a whole roll of dateless Buff's that I saved when I was a kid. You could still find dateless Buff's in change in the 60's. I used nic-a-date on them all and got dates on all of them. Some were even semi key dates. Good fun on pretty much worthless collector coins. Gary
You got dates from all of them? Wow, I wonder if I’m doing something wrong.
Were your coins metal detected coins, or coins from circulation? (I think it works much better on coins from circulation).
Here’s one that I happened to have here in my desk, because I was using it as my most comprehensive experiment. This one was dug up metal detecting. I’ve put the nic-a-date on it for a total of at least an hour. I started with 10 min, then 20 min, then 30 min. I don’t feel like it did anything.
