I have this electronic device my physical therapy gave me called a TENS unit(see wikipedia for the basics). I ended up with an infection in my lower leg so im battling that for 8-12 weeks and was told to stop using the unit. It cost me nothing so was wondering if it could be converted to some type of detector. It consists of 2 channels that each have 2 electrodes that sends pulses of 1-150hz each electrode covers 1-300us. Any tech people know if I can utilize this in metal detecting by converting it somehow or any other useful device. Basically it was free so no loss if things go bad.
