Primary Interest:

What do you all think ? I just drag it real slow till i start getting metal signals then i get off and do a much better job of detecting. I will carry 2 Deus's with me one mounted and one for walking and swinging. I am tired of walking giant fields looking for metal signals.

I'm young, so I dont onow the struggle of walking for hours upon hours.... but I think this idea is good in theory, but not really going to work in practice.

Too much ATV noise. Too much speed variation, only able to 'sweep' 1 direction and so on. Let us know if it works for you but I dont have much honest home this will be a fruitful way of detecting.

I wish you luck on your attempts however.

And you can give your grandkids a ride as you detect lol

Hope you are successful but a little too much getting on and off for me.

I was thinking about getting a drone to fly very, very low over fields looking for brick, then going over to the spots to detect. Seriously.

I have drones

Fine piece of engineering! May Gold find your new automated machine! :icon_thumleft:

Here In Ohio We have Old deserted canals . I have walked them for a long time before finding anything. I did find Lock door Gate Valve. I gave it to the historical society. I have flown some of these canals with my drones but this was fairly inexpensive and will let all know how it works out, Your correct I AM JUST USING THIS TO CHECK FOR IRON Patches

Gare for your new set up to work properly you would need to rotate your coil 90 degrees. Remember it is a DD coil and not a concentric.

Lol! Take off the lower rod in case it flips. Good job btw!

What would be cool is if you made that whole pvc sled into a coil...

I just tied the coil on there for pictures. Loco your only the second person to notice. GREAT JOB BUDDY
