Bullet age and type?

Would appreciate any info on this bullet. Was very heavily encrusted when found. Took that off with a little electrolysis. Thanks

maybe a .25 Krag or a .25 Remington? What does it weigh?

Thanks for responding jude061. Do not have a scale to weigh it however if any help at all I found these in the same area all dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s. A UMC NITRO CLUB 12 gauge shotgun shell head, a WRA co 30 WCF rifle shell, a PETERS PREMIER 12 gauge shotgun shell head, and the bullet (which just happens to fit rather well into the end of the rifle shell?).
