Two separate finds, one 1890s home.

First up a fairly large rim fire case. While crushed fairly well the rim of the case is somewhere .455 and .465" in diameter. The case looks to be approx 585" tall.

Second is a smaller caliber bullet with a really nice patina. At first I thought it had a hollow tail end, but after cleaning, there's a little bit of case still attached. The approximate height of the bullet is .500 inches and diameter approx between .323 and .336".

Apparently I'm having trouble recognizing pictures. Here's the bottom of the cartridge case (not the token).

I think I solved my own puzzle. According to wiki, the closest rimfire rim diameter is the .41 short. That's kind of unique. Also kind of a squatty case just like the short. Now if I could just find the derringer.....

On to the bullet next.
