Was able to get out the last two weekends for a bit. Last weekend got to an old farm that had slave quarter on it. It's been hunted hard but luckily I found 2 toasted Indians a 1863 and 1865 a eagle I button and a 3 ringer.

. Today we had company over riding atvs and dirtbikes so didnt think i was gonna go digging. Thankfully still had some daylight after they left so me and the boy jumped on the atvs and went to an old house spot way back in the woods. Wasn't expecting much we've hammered this place pretty hard. So after about an hour of shotgun shells and iron I had a good signal under the coil. After popping the plug I saw a glint of silver. Thought it was a rivet off a pair of jeans at first. Glad I didn't toss it, turned out to be a 1862 trime a first for me. Only good find for the day but at least it was a good one.
thanks for looking
