bullet day...

hunted a yard here today where some killer finds were made years ago. I was lucky enough to pluck these out of the ground. all were found at a depth of about 8 inches. the (5) 3-ringers are all .54 caliber, 1 dropped Enfield is a .54 caliber, and the other dropped Enfield is a .58 caliber. the fired Enfield looks to be a .58 caliber. all found with my XP Deus. the site was a camp used by both federal and confederate troops. all the drops were found in close proximity to each other. the fired bullet and pistol ball were found in other areas of the yard.

Reckon any of your Tesoro Machines would have hit on Those at 8 or more inches?

it's a large yard, and it has yielded a lot of finds over the years. tons of solid cast "I" buttons, tons of bullets, 2 C.S.A. rectangle belt buckles, breast plate, U.S. box plate, U.S. buckle, eagle buttons, ect... and no telling what was found that I haven't heard about.

thanks! yes... the Vaquero would have no problem finding bullets at that depth. when super-tuned, I've found bullets with it over 14". the Cibola would have hit on them assuming the mineralization was right. the Bandito II uMax would probably have gotten them also, but that would be about it's limit. your Tejon, with it's high audio response, will reach on down there even further than the Vaquero.
