I found this near the battlefield in Vicksburg Mississippi, where the siege of Vicksburg happened. It's a confederate french triangular bullet, the cavity of the bullet is triangular instead of round. 69 caliber.

Not an easy CW bullet to dig. I have only found 2 since 1995. WTG, Quindy in Tennessee.

Very nice find! Congrats and HH!

Thank guys, I found this within 10 minutes of starting, we also found 5 mini balls and a bunch of camp lead. This is my first and I'll be donating it to my friend Rick who runs the Vicksburg battle field and museum.
