Not much to show for 3 or 4 hours. Would assume the heart is off horse tack. Couple of musket balls, broken pewter spoon, harmonica reed, flat button and a bullet I would assume is civil war and would appreciate an ID. Hard to measure but as no longer perfectly round but 56 or 57 caliber and weights about 354 grains. Will post in the "What is it" forum in a bit if no ID here. I have found a few Merrill Carbine bullets and some three ringers in the area before. Also a New York button and a couple of general service from CW. This is a site near what was a large ferry on the TN River. Was a small town from 1812 till the 1870's. Lots of troops documented to have moved through but no battles or skirmishes in the area that have ever been documented.
