I’m not learned in bullets, so I figured I’d ask you guys. I searched online for a couple hours and learned a thing or 2 about bullets but wasn’t sure. Thanks for the help. I’ll mark this solved.

When you see multiple tiny parallel ridges inside the body-groove(s) on a bullet, it means the bullet was manufactured no early than 1877, and more likely is from sometime in the 20th-Century. That type of bullet groove is called a "reeded groove" or "knurled cannelure." Still being manufactured today. See the photo below.

Thank you for the extended information. I couldn’t find that bit of info that distinguishes those ridges from the smooth civil war bullets. I did see the cupped base and thought I may have found something good. I enjoy learning and thank you all for the narrowing down my learning focus.
