Bullets, Axe heads, and other stuff

Can someone ID the bullets, the brass piece and tell me something about the axe heads about possible age etc. All items were found in the same genera vicinity. Thanks.

The brass thing is a "shot charger." At least that's what I call it. If you are hunting or shooting clay birds with a muzzle loading shot gun, there is a pouch that the bird shot is carried in. Your find doubles as a plug and a measure for the amount of shot you want to use when you load the gun. I'll see if I can find a picture.

I googled a couple of pictures. Note the shot pouch only has one eye on the bottom for a cord to attach to. That's because it's carried upside down. When the button is twisted it opens a gate and lets a charge of bird shot into the measure. Closing the button stops the rest of the shot from running out and the spring on the measure is depressed so the measure can be removed and the shot poured down the barrel of the shot gun, or as they are more properly called, "Fowler." On your find the spring is missing, either the spring broke and the measure was lost, or the spring rusted away.
