Bullets, button and more

Here are my finds for the day. Looks like a nice 1840's US Navy Button, a bayonet adapter, a pulled .577 bullet, some round balls and chewed bullets. Not sure what the item n the middle is..looks like end of a spur but I don't think it is. And...a cap reloader for reloading modern bullets.

The item that you are unsure about is a brass sword hanger textured to look like a snake. This was a common motif seen on military items during and prior to the American Civil War.
