I think my pinpointer is losing sensitivity is that possible?

If you haven't changed the battery, do so. My opinion of the bulls eye pinpointers is...Do not buy one. They never last for more than a couple months anyways. At least mine never did and I've owned a few. Get the whites TRX or the garrett carrot and keep that one for a backup. Good luck and HH

I stopped using my bullseye pinpointer as you had to almost be right on top of the target to pick it up and that was brand new, got the TRX and love it the depth is awesome for a handheld pinpointer. I was finding the target faster just using the coil over the dirt pile than with the bullseye, the TRX is deep enough to keep you from hitting the coin in the hole and I would say it gives 3 to 4" in the dirt. I had a coupon and gift certificate and the bullseye only cost me $25.00 and I still felt bad paying that but they really fixed that as $140.00 for the TRX and I'm happy. HH
