Buncha clad, dinosaur, door hinge, unknown metal

Went to the creek today. Found $1.66 in change, a rubber toy dinosaur, a door hinge on an old homestead site, and two metal pieces. The pole has a tubular U-joint or hinge, I think, attached to wood on either end, and the L-shaped piece has me stumped.

Here is the second pic



The L piece is flat, about 1/8" thick, maybe 6"-8" from point to point, about 1.5" wide. Any ideas?
