Sheesh... that was a small book. heh

Good one / story though.

Yea about half way Through , I was thinking, Is this Worth the time ? :coffee2:

so what do you think happened ?

Priest not so "priestly"...

Someone saw him bury...

Forgot where he buried it...

Gophers were pissed he dug up an underground tunnel ... ruining it... and retaliated by moving money... or worst... chewed it to shreds.

? ? ?

when he went for help Because of the sexton with the Big Drunkin' Mouth,
My guess Someone he Picked also had a big Mouth, Or they overheard & Followed.

"4 trusty Men" ? How Trusty ?

I Thought the Priest at First.
But if it was him, I Think he would have said he washed his Hands of it,
since they "Forced him' To Coddle their Money.
but he took out loans to do good by them.

That or he decided on a spot & After Changed his Mind & Chose another, & in the
heat of things forgot.

I've done that already.

Stashed something & It took me almost a year to remember I Changed
my Mind & Stashed it at as Different spot.

Possible... I don't know... you'd think when being in charge with such huge responsibility he would have it pegged where he was putting it etc.
