They couldn't Have All been so Dumb. If you want to Bury Your Treasure to hide it From Confiscation.
Why would you Draw a Map, & Leave it where it can be found by the Feds ?

I sure hope Most were smart enough to Know Even Life Sentences are Rarely Life Sentences. Better Off Trusting Your Memory . & at least if that Fails, You only have You to Blame.

Drug traffickers where making so much money, they literately did not know what to do with it. I wonder how much is still buried. There was so much they couldn't keep track of it all without records. And if they tried to remember, some got left in the ground. Trouble is, much was put in the ground as paper money, to rot away.
