Busy hummingbird moth

From the land of the Bluenose....when out a digging came across this little flying thing.

Thought it was kind of neat and very busy going from one thistle to another.

we've got the same thing here in Kansas. they look like a hummingbird until you catch one and they roll up their probiscus
