Butt end to English pistol??

Found this today at same spot I got 1600s Spanish copper few weeks back here in central Massachusetts.Rang in as copper/brass and assume brass.Only say English as a crown is one of the symbols,but I really havent a clue.

Looks to "round" to be a butt cap from a pistol. The pistol grip should be more oval shaped, to fit the hand.

The 2 holes confuse me too. Not sure exactly what it is... hope it's good.

If English crown,would connection between that and what appears to be a man in turban indicate one of the former British colonies?

if it's only got one hole on the side, I would think it's the pommel cap from a sword. hole on the end for the handle shaft and nut, the hole on the side for the hand guard

Yes,only one hole on side.Cleaned a bit more and think now its a man in english wig on left and woman on right.Still no clue to what it is though.
