Well, went to an old standby field on the property of a pre-CW home. Came up with this apparent rifle butt plate and Eagle I button. The button has no manufacturer marks on the back. I will have to hit the fields a little harder, there must be more there. Thanks for looking, it has been a while since I have been out detecting.

That butt plate is a good size piece of brass. With something that big who know what else might be hiding out there.

nice CW find :icon_thumleft: MR TUFF

Thanks for the comments. I have also found a 3 cent piece, bullets and another eagle button in the field in the past. I will keep hunting it. It is a huge field.
