✅ SOLVED Button, Casing and Shotgun headstamp, need help identifying please

Found a few items in a farm field yesterday, need help identifying please.

1. The best I can identify the button has "extra quality" engraved in it. I assumed before it was "mashed in", it was a round button. It appears nothing is on the front side.
2. For the CDL casing, I read that it stands for C.D.Leet and is a pinfire style.
3. The headstamp has the word STAR at the bottom, I've searched cartridge websites and cannot identify this particular one. I am having difficulty reading any text at the top.

I would like to know what these items date, and a little more info on each. Any help is appreciated.

There was a "Southern Cartridge Co" that marked the head stamp with the word "Star," that only lasted a couple of years around 1900.
And there are a couple of others that have the same word, one is "SCI" or Sportsmen International Cartridge Co., but no dates on manufacture.
The other CDL head stamp isn't a pin fire, you can see the firing pin dent for a rim fire cartridge. C. D. Leet also manufactured rim fire Spencer ammo, and that is probably what you have.
