Button ID Help

Posted this on What Is It Forum, but never received a response. Trying to figure out if this button is civil war era or later. It appears to be a two piece button but only found this part.

This is Called a "Great Seal Button". They started using them a little before WWI and still use the same design today. That size would be a cuff button. Look up the makers mark on the back and it should give you some clue for a date range. There is a site that lists all of the makers of these buttons over the years but I do not remember what it is at the moment. Maybe someone else here will know.
