✅ SOLVED Button or Rivet?

This was found with my Equinox 800 along the Oregon Coast in a cove I've been exploring. It is about 7mm in diameter, and not ferrous. Initially I thought it was a rivet. Thanks for any help!

hmm 7mm.. that's barely bigger than 1/4 inch,. Given the size, my guess is a watch pocket rivet.
