Buttons and wheats

[The Beep Goes On]

Hit Logan for a few hours today and got a couple of buttons, a couple of wheats and a tent rope tightener.

Field pic of small eagle button...it even has 90 year old thread still attached 8)

Logan has remnants of the old camp sewer system buried throughout the woods...

Pre-cleaning pics (and, no, that is not spit )...

An interesting token. I was hoping to find a gold coin today, however this is not what I meant ...

G.F. Foster Son and Co. button. I had found one of these previously. G.F., I believe, started sometime around 1900...

Small eagle button w/thread...

1916D (right date/mint, wrong coin :P ) and 1941 wheats...

The token you found is a Mardi Gras coin from a 1977 parade. Those buttons are really cool, love the GF button. Good digs!

Nice finds! In the last pic at the bottom, what is that thing? I found the same one. Looks like a handle of some sort.

The bottom piece is a tent guy... the tightener for a tarp or tent rope.

If you have an electrician friend he'd appreciate the ground rod clamp. The last time I had to buy one they were up to 8 bucks at the home dumpster!....lol
