Been awhile since i last posted, but i had to share this amazing find! Stopped by a bank I don't usually visit and asked for halves. $400.00 is what the teller said she had, and as i always do, i took them all. I looked at them and saw they were all hand wrapped, and looked like re-wraps.
Got to my car, and the first three rolls were all Bicentennials, that looked like they were rolled on July 4th 1976! I didn't have high hopes for the rest, but i pulled out of the bag a roll that was in a different wrapper: out pops 20 40% silver halves!

i then sorted all of the rest of the rolls:

I knew this was going to be good!
Final total:
11 solid rolls of silver out of the 40 total.
64 1964 Kennedy's
156 40% Kennedy's.

2 of the rolls were 1969-D that looked like they had been rolled in 1969 and 2 of the 1964 rolls were blast white.

By far the single largest find of silver halves in one pickup I've ever found. But since these weren't in a box, i guess it can't be called a "monster box"!

Score of a lifetime there! Now we just need to be on the lookout for wrappers labeled "good" and "silver".

It is an awesome feeling. Enjoy it. The mantra can't be emphasized enough to Buy Them All. You'll get tired serving as the courier of other's dumps, but the tellers will come to rely on that one guy who Buys Them All. And then one day, you'll be rewarded for your efforts.

Just think DTW, you were the "Guy" that the teller will tell someone about the next day. Teller, "I gave all mine to some guy yesterday". I always wonder about the "Guy" and what he got. Now I know.

Keep on Searching

Way to go DTW! That has happened to me only once. Many solid rolls and partial rolls of silver for a total of 306. All were 40%ers but hey! Congrats!!!!!

Congrats on a rare event! The CWRs I've received have all been dumps from other CRHers. Never have found a single silver in a customer wrapped roll.

Congrats I'm skunked so far this year gotta be at the right bank at the right time

I'm skunked so far in 2020 Congrats on a great score gotta be at the right bank at the right time

DTW: great score and for being at the right place at the right time. This is similar to the ten roll pickup I had few years ago. You won't forget this one for a long long time. Congrats again.

Excuse me as I wipe the droole off my I-Pad screen after looking at this silver porn pic.
No too shabby.

I was at my close branch the other day running errands, I could see Old wrapper rolls galore, teller looks me right in the eye and says they don't have anything. I thought he was a sniper, now I know for sure.

Good pick up for you!
