Found these coins here on the Central Coast. I first thought the silver Columbian Half Dollar was a token as I was unfamiliar with this coin. I read it was the first U.S. Commemorative Coin minted in the United States (?), but hey... the internet was the source of that information.

I have that same Columbian coin. I found it in an abandoned house in SC back in the '60s.

Very nice find. My dad gave me one of those when I was a kid. As a commemorative coin, I can't imagine those are dug very often. Congrats!

Well done congratulations

Cool finds! Congrats!

Nice haul. That's Columbian as in Chris Columbus. I thought South America at first, Colombia. That's a nice old coin!

great find, thanks for posting

Very Nice!!! One of My Fav Coins:)! Congrats!!!

Thanks everyone! All of those coins (and the zinc) were found under a bridge, maybe tossed in trying to appease the Bridge Trolls? I was certainly pleased finding them (except for the zinc)!

Great finds! I really like the Columbian commemorative coin! Thanks for posting. By the way, a lot of hoboes and homeless camp under bridges and overpasses... might be where some of the coins came from!

Congrats on a great looking coin. I have a few of those in my personal collection, (purchased, not found).
