From the land of the Bluenose.....well the cabin fever has reached a new height so time to vent and spin a tall tale!

As the days got colder and the snow piled higher the poor ole Bluenoser was going stir crazy, shack happy and suffering from cabin fever that could only be cured by swinging a Garrett. In his depressed state he began to see things like a rocket ship and an

landing on his front door step and creepy crawly

climbing up his legs!

He had to get out for a spell and decided to cut a hole in the ice and catch a few

Well on the bright side he thought to himself was that he didn't have to weigh

as he had snagged bottom earlier in the year when he had taken the brew crew out for some lobster poaching. "Serves me right" he thought to himself! The fishing was pretty poor and the ole Bluenoser was getting pretty bored when he hooked on to something. Excited the bouy started pulling up the dead weight on the line and was surprised to see a

"Nuttin too shabby me bouy" he yelled into the sou'wester that was a blowin and chilling him to his weary bones and thought of the chowder he would make from this fine catch!

full of joy he headed back to his fishing hut to prepare his catch of the day. Reaching inside his shirt he lightly touched the "Blue Orb of Faith" that his wife had given him when he was but a young gipper on the docks

With supper over and the dishes still on the table he hit the sack and dreamed of

his wife who was across the bay attending to her sick mother. He slept very well indeed that night and dreamed of finding Bill Lynch's sauna pipes that were filled with silver dollars on McNab's Island!
