I am working on one at the moment. My uncle ricks new girlfriend told me about a farm her uncle owned outside of Clarion, Pa. She told me a story that she witnessed first hand. As I am told, when she was around 12 or 13 (keep in mind she is almost 60 now), that she lived with her uncle most of the time growing up. One evening her uncle got drunk and hid several mason jars full of coins. She said he had a habit of getting drunk and bragging about his money. Anyway, fearing he was gonna be robbed he hid his money. After a couple of days (not to mention after he sobered up) her uncle was not able to find his money. She said they spend many weeks trying to find them. Anyway, she says the money is still there. I have the name of a town that doesnt exist anymore and the last name of her uncle. She told me about some curves in the road and where the house was in relation to them. I looked in the U.S. Treasure Atlas and the town is not recorded in it. I did find a reference to the town when reading an article about early oil city, PA.
Anyway, I said all that to say this, keep looking, there is lots of stuff to find.
