Can Anyone Identify This Art or Artist ??? Dawson - Landscape

An antique dealer offered me a fair amount for this oil on board...which, of course, made me hesitant to sell. He then said to come up with a price and let him know...hmmmm ??
Im familiar with several DAWSON artists, but cant find a signature match. I have record of this in the family since 1898 !!

I would like to know what I have here...If anyone recognized the signature or painting, please let me know.

Not familiar with the name "Dawson" but the picture itself looks like it was done with the typical "wet-on-wet" style which is quite easily done.
