Interesting find. It's post-CW, and approximately .50-.52 caliber. Maybe from one of the 1880's lever-action cartridges?

I can tell you it's a fairly modern bullet, we'd need a measurement in 100ths of an inch to know the caliber....

Not much patina, I'm a bit skeptical of it being super old.

Looks like 45 acp cast lead alloy with wax groove or close to said caliber

Patina can depend on soil conditions, so while it doesn't have the typical white-ish coating I still suspect it's late 19th or early 20th century though I can't match it to a specific round.

Definetly not old may be a 45 long colt or S&M 500 . This is a farely new bullet desigh .
