Can anyone tell me anything about this coin and what's it worth?







My cousin was visiting from Alaska and giving out a bunch of these coins they were all different. He said he found them at a thrift store in Alaska for 50 cents. When he went home he posted on Facebook that he found an antique shop that wanted to pay him up to 50 bucks for some of them and he could have kicked himself for giving them out. I'm interested in the history of them and the value of mine, any help will gladly be appreciated.
