can anyone tell me anything about this old 3- corner cupboar

It's either crotch veneer, or it's plain timber stained and glazed to
look like it (not uncommon). The pattern isn't the most convincing I've
ever seen for being genuine, but it's hard to tell with this photo. At a
guess it's central American mahogany, or aspiring to be.

I'd also guess it's made in Ohio, not Austria. It's not Austrian timber
and although the style is somewhat Germanic, that's as much
characteristic of Ohio as anywhere

Close inspection will confirm what species the timber really is, and
that'll tell you where it was made with good confidence. If you fancy
some DIY sleuthing, a copy of Hoadley's "Identifying Wood" is a good
start.

I can tell you it needs dusting. And if the room it is stored in is not
heated, it will soon dry out and be totally worthless. Is it in some kind
of shop?
