Guessing some kind of drill or boring bit, maybe for digging holes for fence posts.

Yes RW I see your point. This could have been some type of improvised tilling device or boring old clogged irrigation pipes?

It looks like an iron beater/brush bar in a vacuum cleaner. I am leaning towards some kind of drill attachment too. The 2 holes at the top are similar to the way hole saw bits lock into place. The square nails could have had wire brushes coming out of them, like a wire cylinder brush, but who knows what for? Industrial Cylinder Brush or Pig Brush brings up a lot of modern similar...

You have the drum from an old corn sheller. Wooden standing type with a large handle/hand wheel on one side, sometimes a pulley on the other for a small engine.

Looks like you have a part to an old tobacco grinder.

It could also be the grinder wheel for an apple press. Depending on you local.
