Can Sandy affect silver price ?

Just wondering, i just look at silver and it's down under 32$ again today. Seing that market are close today and will be close tomorrow also, you think silver price risk getting even lower by the time this is all over ?

no. Only the dollar can affect the price of gold and silver. If the economy picks up, and the gov stops printing money, then expect gold and silver to go down. I can only hope gold and silver goes down.

My guess they are going to be claiming the economy is improving,
because of all the Building going on after the storm is over,
and investors will believe this.
so I Expect silver to go down more
